New York Fashion Week is drawing to a close and while we have no desire to start chatting about Spring 2008 clothes, there is still plenty to discuss. Later this week we’ll share the best of what celebrity attendees wore to the shows, but today it’s all about models and what they wore backstage.
Not to further flog an expired equine, but we’re always curious about models’ personal style as they are exposed to the best and freshest fashions in the world. They are intimately familiar with the newest looks long before anyone else, so they’re good barometers for gauging which way the trends will blow.
Theories aside, models also just make some admirable and interesting clothing choices, like the awesome purple playsuit Georgia Frost wore backstage at Peter Som (second row, second image from left). We also dug the grunge pairing of dainty dress and tough boots Caroline Trentini sported upon her arrival at Michael Kors (second row, third image from right) and the oversized blazer Agyness Deyn wore over her tie-dye dress to Narciso Rodriguez show (first row, first image from right)
