just out of curiousity, do the models really buy those bags (like marc jacobs, chloe, chanel) or they are sponsored by the designers so maybe the bags are given to them as gifts?

im sure some of the bags (and even some clothes) are given as part of their pay for walking the show. i remember reading somewhere that at the last marni show the models got to pick out one of those tee-shirts to take.
