Gender not important for personal style? I think gender is pretty much the main determinant of how you're going to dress, at least for most people, and then there are those who aren't comfortable with their gender so they switch to another one.
And as for the girl having no style, well, can I ask you what your definition of style may be?

And there are those like Sasha who don't really care about stereotypical ideas about how men and women should dress. That's what I mean by saying it's not important. Imagine if someone grew up in a place with no concept of gender - do you think they would be unable to dress well? Of course they could! You're saying it's a major determinant for most people and I totally agree, but that's a different point.

The girl above (I think she's Karmen?) could have come straight from a Dsquared runway show. She or her agent/friend didn't put together an interesting outfit which shows some kind of expression of the girl's personality/ideas (in contrast to Daul, Iekeliene, Sasha etc). From an aesthetic viewpoint alone it's not interesting either. I think Natasha's style is quite interesting in that it reflects her approach to modelling which has similarities to a solider in an army. She always wears 'perfect' outfits with the latest trends but I don't see anything personal about her style.

So basically I see two main categories. People who treat fashion as some kind of expressive art form - which is the most difficult to pull off and can go horribly wrong and look ugly (Aggy) - or, people who simply want to flatter their own appearence which is much easier to do but often bores others.

Can you explain what you mean by nicer and more feminine?
we usually see her wearing very baggy clothes, and she just looks sloppy sometimes. To me it seems like she doesn't care how she looks and it's not good.

I remember Isabelli Fontana saying in an interview she did for Fashion TV a while ago that when she first began modeling, she would go to these fashion venues wearing sweaters, dressed like whatever.. until someone backstage started telling her it was important for her to dress up because it was part of her job.

i absolutely love what sasha's wearing. i wish there was a better picture so that i could see the whole look. she's always wearing some interesting stuff.

Well I guess we just have different taste :flower:

Baggy clothes and no makeup does not equal sloppy to me. It's unglamorous because it's not trying to be. Sloppy to me is dressing in a way which looks ugly and makes you look worse than you do (e.g. low cut jeans which show your butt). Sasha doesn't have to 'dress up' to be well dressed.

 were you trying to wipe your screen?..LMAO!

Yes.

Do bear in mind, though, that my screen is often dusty and grubby - the legacy of living in an ancient wooden house! Well, let's just say that if the world is hazy and I'm not drunk, it's either that or my glasses that are dirty...

Am LURVIN' Sasha's leather jacket! How many black leather jackets do you think this girl owns.. she rocks a different one every time I see her! Hello, justification for my own fascination with leather jackets.

I love Sheila's and Anja's outfits. And Natasha's fur, I hope shot of the whole outfit will pop up.
