Any recommendations? Living in a city where people walk everywhere, I'd love a pair that are as comfortable as possible. I already own Ferragamo's traditional bow-tie ballet flats (not terrbly comfortable).

I've heard great things about French Sole too, and i can imagine Lanvin being super-comfy too.

I love these by Buffalo....they are so soft it´s like you don´t wear a shoe at all!!!! And they are quite cheap!

Chanel! But I guess it greatly depends on your foot type. I have really broad feet so Lanvins looks and feels awful on me.

French Soles definetily look and feel good, but they don't last in every day use. If you use them only seldom and inside, they will stay good, but if you intend to wear them to streets every day, you can get better quality for that. Compared to the price, the quality in French Soles is bad.

I bought a pair of black French Soles last summer, and intented to wear them as comfy but stylish every day shoes. Two weeks, and they were already looking awful, no matter what I tried to do to them. The leather is far too soft for every day use.

I have heard good things from Repetto though, but never tried.

I tried on the Lanvins and I wouldn't recommend them. Never experienced such a hard sole. If you have to walk or stand a lot go for shoes with a good padding in the soles, for example Aerosoles. They do sometimes have decent styles.

I have some Micheal Kors denim flats that say "MK" all over and have beige leather accents. Very comfy... have yet to wear them though.

Also, although not fashionable at ALL, Crocs are like walking on clouds.

Try the Gap. They have a ton right now, and at the price, they are practically disposable.

Yes, but I only know about Copenhagen stores. Otherwise try www.laredoute.fr or www.laredoute.co.uk (they have pages in many countries, but not DK). Or www.mrsh.se - they do ship to Denmark, but you have to contact them in advance. Be aware that Repetto run a full size small.

I have some Gap ones and wouldn't recommend them for everyday use. The soles (on the regular ones) are very hard. The soles on the ones with the elasticized sides are very soft, though. However with both they cut into my heel. I can wear the elasticized ones often but the other ones are very occasional. I wore them a couple of days ago and tried to wear them again and couldn't because they hurt.

Nine West flats are incredibly comfortable. My favorite is "Poof" - I own the style in 5 different colors.

I love the look of ballet flats, but I can never ever find a comfortable pair. Is this strange? I see so many people walking around in them that I assume they're comfortable for most, but everytime I try to walk in them, I feel like I'm walking like a duck. Does anyone else have this problem?

Maybe it is because you are used to walk in heels?

lanvin flats are the best hands down..i own two pairs and they are well worth the money and then some..
