And I loved Trading Mom, where the three kids go to the mommy market and pick out new moms.
My parents used to just let me watch period films up to the age of 7. So we watched Oliver, My Fair Lady over and over and over again. Oh and Nureyev's production of Cinderella (music by Prokofiev). Those are the only films I saw as a child.
I always sung the song Zazu sang...
...I've got a lovely bunch of cocunuts and there they are a standing in a row..bum bum bum...big ones, small ones, some as big as your HEAD
MARY POPPINS. I loved it and I still can sing along all songs. And I loved it when Mary whipped the furniture out of her handbag and when she blew all the nannies away and when she came flying in with her umbrella and the medicine + sugar = good and everything.
When you're sitting around with a group of friends sometime, try asking everyone to name their top 10 all-time favorite films. It's so much fun. You start remembering every wonderful movie you've seen, and it's so hard to narrow the list down as more keep popping into your head.
