Nail Polish

Sally Hansen

good product for not a lot of $$$

the color i wear most of the times is just 'sheer pink gloss'

I'd hate for them to get creative with the name, or anything.

I second that! Sally Hansen is SO GOOD and SO CHEAP! I was reluctant to buy it at first, but once I did, it became the only polish I ever use.

i agree as well..
sally hansen has got some good polishes for very good prices ^_^

quick question! i don't know much about nails, but is there something wrong with wearing the same nail polish on your nails AND your toenails? is it along the same lines as wearing the same designer or color from head to toe? i'm not really sure.. thanks for your help!

bogies, i don't see anything wrong with wearing the same color on your nails and your toenails. i do that sometimes.

i don't see a problem with wearing the same colors either..
your fingers and toes are far away from each other anyway, and i think it can often be a lot easier and classier if you've got the same colors..

you don't want to have to think too much about whether the polish on your fingers and toes will clash or compliment each other imo

Good point ChrissyM,
I never match my toes and nails with the same polish!

:flower:

sometimes I wear the same color, sometimes not  so i don't get bored

whenever i do my nails at home they take hours to dry and i end up getting an inprint of my bed sheets on my nails the next morning!!!!!!
does this happen to anyone else and does anyone know how to stop this from happening???

I was at the beauty supply store today and I saw O.P.I. has this product called "Drip Dry". You just put 1 or 2 drops on your nails and they're dry to the touch in one minute and completely in 5. They also have "Rapid Dry" which is the same thing but comes in a spray form or nail polish form. I bought it today in the nail polish form but I haven't tried it out yet to see if it really works.

I love nail color but I find myself not liking the way many non-neutral shades look on my hands. I keep my nails quite short but I feel like I have very short, stubby fingers. I think that non-neutral colors would just bring more attention to that fact. Or, perhaps, I am crazy.

I usually find myself wearing either OPI Bubble Bath, Essie Pink Glove Service or NYC Love Letters (a really great drugstore find).

I seriously don't know what color to put on my fingers so guys What colors you do you think you'll be wearing this fall or winter ? or what color is great to wear lately ? thanks in advance

i always try different colors but always go back to Chanel's Pirate- its the perfect red..I always wear it

I finally caved in and bought OPI's coveted I'm Really Not A Waitress. It's quite pretty! It looks like a Christmas ornament. I also bought Revlon's Vixen but yet have to try it.

I think blues and dark reds are really big for fall. I would try colors from OPI's Russian Collection.

I used that OPI spray yesterday @ the nail salon. I guess I aimed the nozzle too close to my nails & now there's tiny little indentations on all my fingers on my left hand, but I used it on my right hand (the correct way) & it looks fine. I would've gotten it fixed, but I didn't notice until I got home. :(

Anyway, I love OPI polishes; The colors and the pro-wide brushes are the best. My favorite shade is definitely Lincoln Park After Dark (swatch below) from the Chicago collection.

^I love rouge Noir or Vamp as it is called in the US. But OPI has fantastic colours and it's more affordable than CHanel :)
