I'm lusting after an electric blue nail polish... The only one that I've found is OPI "Blue me away" except that I cant find a shop that stocks it :(

^ i'd really go for electric blue, if i were ever to find it! i looked for some awhile back and the closest i found was a brightish metallic blue. it looks like Sephora has a good electric blue cream polish, if you have access to one of their stores, or are able to order. i'll be checking it out the next time i'm able to!

Nail polish does not last a day on my fingers, regardless of base+top coat. :( Maybe it's because I wash my hands a lot or my nails are just too flimsy. I guess I can just pay attention to keeping my naked nails extra nice.

Although I did buy a new polish today called Cajun Shrimp by OPI. I guess it's going to be out of season, but it's soo pretty.

Sephora has 2 vibrant blue shades, one more on the turquoise side called curacao and one in myrtille. both were available in france. cheapo but great quality!

Sneak peek of Chanel's new spring nail polish: It's going to be navy!

I have been sitting on this secret for a month.

Funny exchange with Dramaqueenie2:
Blogdorf: I have a secret that I have to spill to you.
DQ2: Tell me.
Blogdorf: Chanel is coming out with a navy nail polish.
DQ2: Cream or shimmer?
Blogdorf: Crap. I forgot to ask.

^ oooh, i'm wearing navy (OPI russian navy) right now. yeah, i wonder if it will be cream or shimmery/metallic?

I'm wearing russian navy too this week!

Can anybody tell me which (if any) of the reds/burgundies in the OPI range are most similar to Chanel's Rouge Noir? Because I would love a colour like that, just started wearing nail varnish again, but I can't really afford to spend quite that much... I find the OPI formulas really hardwearing and easy to apply, and cheaper, but not too cheap to be crap.

:)

I finally tried my Revlon's Vixen and apart from the bubbliness of the application :( the color is beautiful!

Right now I'm hooked on red (reminds me of Dorothy Gale's shoes) or gold glitter.
The only downside of glitter nail polish is that it's harder to remove.

^ i'm right with you on the ruby slippers fixation. NARS has a polish coming out for the holidays (Saratoga) that looks perfect. glittery polishes are a pain to remove - they're so gritty. but on the plus side they seem to wear quite well.

^ wow, that's awesome. looks like they come in a 4 pack of minis. i guess i don't have any of those colors just yet, so i might be able to justify it.

actually, Boo-Berry might be the electric blue that dior_me_not was searching for.

yet another OPI product to buy. Drip Dry, Give Me the Moon, My Private Jet and I'm Not Really a Waitress are already on my list....
