The new head makeup artist/creative director at Loreal is James Kaliardos of Visionaire. This is the first campaign/line under his direction.
 real bad idea from L'Oreal to work with Kaliardos he does not mix with their style, neither he's going to lure his hyped entourage to L'Oreal products..

thanks for the info chick, i was completly in the dark regarding this :flower:

natalia, of course.. still we are getting a bit out of topic guys with those p*rn-ish old photos of hers :innocent:

That ad looks like it's only ment to attract 15 year olds with no taste

And the other pics.......poor girl, good thing she ended up so well! I Think that is even more of a fairytail story!

 agree

It's from Natalia's early career in European catalogs. She did some even more risque work in Morocco, I believe. The fantasy fairy tale of being plucked from the fruit stands of Russia and sent straight to Chanel Haute Couture is a little exaggerated. Natalia did a lot of low-profile work before landing gigs with Anna Wintour and the like.
I was wondering when those awful pictures of natalia's early EARLY days of modeling were going to end up on this site... You have to start SOMEWHERE. And no one starts at the tip top. B)

The artistic director's gotta be really bad because in the first pic where Natalia is in a ''back swing'' pose, she looks very unnatural.
I completely agree, it looks like someone is throwing her

This Natalia Vodianova is proof to me that LUCK exists. Her fairy tale is so unbelievable. Born in poverty, maybe extreme poverty in a forgotten Russia very small town with sisters from different fathers, street fruit seller in a market, doing this kind of work in Morocco, doesn´t even possess height or an impressive body, the face of a child and look where she´s now at age 21, and she´s also married very well, with english old money, and has a lovely child...........

good for her, i think she deserves the success,
she's a real sweet girl
even though she's certainly not my fave model,
i like the fact that she's not playing 'star', unlike others that recently get on my nerves

what do you guys think about this cover of Natalia...?
it's from december 2002, if anyone might care :)

I dont think this girl could ever have a bad cover. I like the photo, not my fav of natalia, but she looks charming as ever

i really just don't understand how EVERY other country's vogue can do compelling covers except us...this is mysterious and reminds me of madonna's erotica video.

she is beautiful, but also androgynous (which is a feat in itself bc she is so girly looking to me)
