Ooh la la! Net-a-porter does my head in! Having made my first purchase of a Chloe top yesterday to take advantage of the continued period of free shipping - the farmfarters go and overcharge me. Then admitting their error tell me that I can have store credit for the amount which I don't want - I want my money back! As it was their error I don't see why I should be tied into buying more from them straight off! Rant over...sigh...
Honestly, living in Paris and buying stuff from them is rather like bringing coals to Newcastle - and as others have mentioned these guys seem to be the most expensive ever!
Yeah they did. Admittedly, its not by much the item I purchased was listed at 662 GBP and somehow they put through 681.84?! and the free shipping was listed separately so it's not a shipping charge. I ordered over the phone on Sunday as I was having difficulties with the site. They say the overcharge was due to a rare IT error.
I am just super pissed that they have tried to resolve this with store credit...living in Paris/London with so many shopping opportunities NAP was a last resort.
I sent them an email saying that store credit was unacceptable and in return they have agreed to refund the money to my Amex. Why couldn't they have just done that in the first place? It would have made me feel much more positive about them. They said it would take around 10 days for the money to be returned to the account - so I best double check it actually happens!
I agree with you Beautiful - a lot of misses in their mid-season sale. I just wanted you guys to know that I love the Chloe blouse I purchased from NAP - it was worth the hassle and I'll possibly shop with them again in future.
Here's a pic from NAP so you can get an idea of what it looks like. It's a lot prettier and special in real life....
ChrissyM & Grill - Your purchases are gorgeous! I have yet to buy anything from NAP but I love browsing and hoping that I'll be able to buy something soon.
Grill that blouse was worth the hassle!!! its great!
with regards to mid season sale; how LOUSY!
i mean who on earth does a 20% discount and advertises it as a mid season sale. rubbish. give me a 50% discount on the stuff you dont sell anyway! and then we can talk
i just dislike stinginess when it comes to fashion. i work in the industry and just know oh too well what happens if you dont sell your stock at the end of season. its money sitting there all tied up.
