New York City - Barneys ss06 trunk shows

believe me...the money went to good use...

i usually don't like to have SA's following me around, so i don't mind that the staff at barney's usually just leaves you alone...
but this was just bad...
i now know the manager of the women's designer floors and she told me that she had to get that all sorted when she came...
hopefully it's better now..

but it was pretty crap, i have to admit...
i took it ok...cause i had other stuff i wanted by then anyway...
but my FRIEND......she was FURIOUS!!...

shalu I dont think they do, I have the list for Trunk shows all the way up to January and no resort. Plus they no stores ever buy much of resort. I think resort starts poppin up some time in december?

so yea I got to look at every piece of SS 06 dries today, it arrived today. The collection is similar to FW 05 by way of prints, and the silhouette is very flowy and night gownish looking. Clothes look very breezy and perfect for summer. Its starting tomorrow and continues till wed night. Ill be there Wed whos comin?!

caffeine i just checked prices on the paisley suit. its actually sold seperately and the jacket is 3700 and the pants are 1200.

Thanks EdK. It's surprisingly lower than what I thought . I thought that those were 5 digits...The pants in this winter season are actually at the same price level.

the paisley stuff is incredible caffeine, its all laser cut and some of the paisley is actual fabric that is additionally stitched on not just a print. also the t shirt you asked about, it wasnt there, but it may be the same one with another shirt underneath, but the one at barneys is a sleeveless, and it was 900 something, but the craftsmanship is incredible also. i dunno if its beads but its sort of like metal i dunno how to explain it. also some of the white pieces is very much similar to that of comme des garcons by rei

i forgot to mention that they also brought some jewelry made out of swarovski crystals and some with pearls.
they had this one in like 3 colorways and some other bow tie ones made entirely out of swarovski, also had the shirt int he picture with collars like that as well. i think the balenciaga section for ss 06 at barneys is gonan be amazing.

As far as planning goes, I might just get a B's jacket and an alberta ferreti's dress as my spring staples??
