MSN has the first shows up now!:D

i want to go to a show so badly. anyone else considering sneaking in? haha.

So, IMG is streaming videos, I watched two today, Kenneth Cole worked very well but Baby Phat was a bit spotty. Probably too many people trying to watch.

But IMG seems to be only streaming the shows from the tents, and some of the biggest designers aren't at the tents. Marc Jacobs, Marc by Marc, Calvin Klein, Donna Karan, and Ralph Lauren are not on IMG's schedule. All of these are at the heart of American fashion, so to not see them really makes fashion week pointless, imo. Does anyone know anyplace to see these shows??

I'm looking forward to Luella, her S/S show was quite lovely.

Where's Imitation Of Christ? :innocent:

how do you get in the shows? do you need tickets for each event, or can you get a pass for all the shows.

Unless you happen to be the editor of Vogue, you need pretty much each shows' pass and it is industry (and press) only in theory but a lot of friends and all are around... A (very) few are open to the public (GenArt comes to mind) but good luck getting in...

Nope, the IMG video feeds and so on are our best bets, although it is fun to see the models sprint to their town cars after the shows if you're near Bryant Park!! (Hi Julia! Care for a quick cocktail??!!)

yea i assumed it wasn't so easy to get in, but some people were saying that they have all show passes for $100 or something, which made no sense to me lol. thanks!

Hey, I know that you can watch the shows at MSN, but I click on it, and the page says its "Loading..." but its been loading for about 10 minutes. Is anyone else having trouble getting it to work?

Hi..Thanks for posting. I was wondering if anyone knew where the "promenade" was, or what that meant.

Thanks:flower:

It's the center long "Tent" at Bryant Park. There are several in different configurations and seating; that way there can be set ups at different times for various size shows.
It's actually a maze of interconnecting tents!B)

There is an interesting video on the MSN.com Fashion Week video page about how they put all the tents together and such; not as boring as it might sound!
