Nippon Vogue January 2007 : Gisele

I'd like to see a bigger pic, but Gisele appears to look unusually good there..

I know the Japanese mags always come out early, but does anyone know why that is exactly? Ie what's the point of having the january issue come out in November?

I think there has been discussion over why magazines always come out earlier than the month issue. I can't remember the thread title (maybe someone else does?) or why exactly they decide to do that, but I'm guessing it's marketing? Can anyone else explain it?

Actually our local Borders used to carry Vogue Nippon. The problem is it's really expensive (I remember the price was like $20 something). I guess it really didn't sell, so they dropped it probably about one year ago. Does anyone know any bookstore in Chicago that carries Vogue Nippon? I don't think I saw it at the Borders on N Michigan Ave last time.
