congrats aspen! i hope i can add a novak to my purse collection in the near future. i went into the mcqueen store in nyc a while back and nearly died when i saw all the exotic leather novaks they had. the colors are so gorgeous too! looking forward to see what they are going to have for S/S 07.

seriously, i am doing major damage already, at nm, NAP, and elux. i need to pick and choose when everything arrives and is in front of my eyes. but that grape color - it's so gorgeous! my worry, though, is that the leather will scratch easily

^ I remember reading a while back that it does scratch very easily, but that the conditoner gets rid of the scratches.

aspen - do you find that when you use a leather conditioner that the scratches more or less go away, or rather, blend in with the rest of the bag? how do you like using this bag? is it pretty easy to carry around? and do you wear it more with dressy outfits or can you wear it all the time, dressy and casual? TIA for any info you can provide

i saw a bunch at nm today - olive, brown, and black. i was so tempted to pick up the brown one

i did end up receiving my grape one from NAP today. it is so freaking gorgeous!!!!!! i am going to debate on what i can/can't keep. i am spending a lot for someone who wasn't planning on spending much during sale. yeah right! if i decide to keep i'll be sure to post pics.

I haven't used it much. I plan on using it more as a dressy bag. I do think it looks great casual too. I like it a lot since its so different from the other bags I have. Its so structured. I find it easy and light to carry. I haven't used any conditioner. I think I see the marks more because its a light color. My black Muse actually scratches easier than the Novak.

I have a red Novak, and it scratches VERY easily. I am super gentle with my bags, but it happens anyway. I need to find some leather conditioner and see if that really helps. I don't use it as much as I thought I would because I'm so scared of banging it up...

But truly, such a beautiful bag. Was Apple conditioner what was recommended on here?

I've just bought my second novak, the bigger version, in grape/purple with silver hardware, it was on sale for 595 euros! it is my favourite bag, no doubt!

but I live in the Netherlands. Newsstands here hardly carry any type of vogue, so I guess I just can't ever buy one (at least not in Amsterdam). Are they available online?

If you're still looking (very late reply) the bookshop at Spui in Amsterdam carries these special edition vogues. The spring summer one should still be available there.
