went to the Ebisu store one week after the collection arrived and of course nearly everything was gone already. like always -.- ...

Thanks for the latest info. Did you go to the Isetan shop too? How's the condition there? I am going to Tokyo next week but will only go to look for N(N) in Isetan and UA. Ebisu just too far away (only been there once in 2002 and took me 2 hrs back and forth from Shibuya. So...).

No, I just went to Isetan for the last collection, but the "shop" there is a supersmall counter and they only select very basic items for the usual, brand-show-off Shinjuku-costumer with no fashion taste. If u´re there, better look out for The Virdi-Anne,Factotum or Julius. Or try to grap some Pledge-stuff at other stores, it looks very similar.
But in any way good luck, cause the japanese high school boys don´t leave much left usually. If it´s hyped by magazines, they buy it, no matter what, no matter the price.
Oh, and I didnt know United Arrows is carrying N(N)

Thanks again for the news! I will take a good look at Pledge and Virdi-Anne while in Tokyo.

And yes UA carries N(N) but only in its Harajuku Mens building. However, the selection is even less than the Isetan shop. Also, Beams used to carry the N(N) ladies' line in the Shibuya Beams but not anymore.

Wow, thank you for the reports everyone! :flower:

The quality is, as previously stated, wonderful, however all, and I do mean ALL of the jackets and coats we ordered (I think about 6 in total) have the most wretched large black suede four leaf clover roughly stitched on each elbow. It's horrible. All the coats have proven to be quite popular, particularly the short double breasted one with round metal buttons, until customers see the back and then the sale's off.

Even though I haven't seen it, I think that would be quite a turn off as far as I'm concerned.. :( But if they're stitched on aren't they possibly removable?

i really dont think the clover patches are that noticable... at first glance they just look like regular elbow patches... and they are even done in the same colour as the whole jacket, so it is quite subtle...

however i do agree with bart... and i am disappointed that they are on ALL the jackets... it doesnt match to have an elbow patch on some of the more tailored and formal pieces..

however it isnt significant enough to deter me from buying some of the nicer peices...

Hey boxma, sorry for the late reply. We're selling the cardigan for £310.

I checked with NN store in NY. The diagonal cut cardigan is selling for US$1400. It's 100% cashmere !!!

It's 100% insane!!! I tried it on, BTW, and it fits weird. I wouldn't buy it.

I don't have the chance to see the real one unless I make a trip to NY :p . The buyer here decided not to carry N(N), saying the price is too crazy and can't sell them in Toronto. Ppl are still into Dolce and Gabbana. Yesterday, i saw 2 guys wearing the James Dean tee B)
