This is gorgeous!! Some of the look are very Rick Owens, I am a girl and I wold buy some of the items in a heartbeat! I love the pictures, its such a beautiful contrast between the blond hair and black clothing!

I love the fourth jacket...

Fantastic thanks so much for posting! :flower:

they were formally Macabre...not sure why the change of name has come about.

It's looking good, but as already said, a tiny bit too close to what Rick Owens is doing, with the drape-y jerseys and zip-up jackets.

Really like it :) Love black, and as said, beautiful contrast in the pics.

I thought this looked familiar....makes perfect sense now. There couldn't possibly be two of them with names like that. :p

This seems more simple and streamlined than what I saw before.

It's getting harder and harder for me to tell labels like Rick Owens, Raf Simons, Julius, and Ann D. apart. This just seems like one more designer into the mix...

Really? I find all those designers and this, to be very easily distinguishable.

I like this collection quite a bit and seems as though the line has expanded some since Macabre. The leather (that's leather in the 5th picture right?) is fantastic and the zip neck jacket is just perfect.
Too often people try and relate collections and designers to one another, but I truly get a sense of individuality from this line.

Kavaj- I tried getting a hold of a piece from Winter but it was gone very fast! Any information about the SS08 line in terms of stockists? Direct orders?

nothing particularly breakthrough, but nice nonetheless.

i really love the fifth look...is that washed leather?

Yes the fifth picture is washed leather.

Casius: I totally agree with you, I think this line has a lot individuality and speaks for itself. About stockists, the lookbook will be sent out to chosen stores all over the world. You could always contact the designer by e-mail if you like.

The designer (Richard) really has developed , and you compare this collection with the last Macabre-collection it is obvious that Richard has grown as a designer. The work that have been put in to each garment is amazing, and the cutting and fit is in my own opinion perfect, at least for my body.

Thank you Kavaj! I'll for sure send him an email and maybe contact some local stores and let 'em know about the line. I think it could do well in certain areas here in the US.

same over here. would buy/wear some pieces in a minute! Like the leather jacket or the jacket with the buttons... Gorgeous!

Very nice. Id wear this stuffa any day, looks very dangerous lol

I'm very much in love with this.
I can definitely see how the aesthetic does resemble Owens' and Julius' somehow but this is a lot more feminine and yes.. obscure.. to me.. and that whole mix plus the strength in the result is... what bliss is made of. :p

thanks for posting kavaj!.

i can certainly understand the sentiment that there isn't a tremendous distinction between many of these designers anymore. there are really quite alot these days with very similar aesthetics. distinguishable perhaps underlying....but one can agree that this look isn't the most original.

you're right scott, it's not & one has to wonder whether there is a large enough market to support this particular style of design. That & the fact that lines previously mentioned, such as Julius, Rick Owens (& Drkshdw), Undercover to a certain extent...Number (n)ine aswell...those metioned lines are the most successfull in Menswear just now, or right up there.

So they have a narrow market to opperate within & an incredibly tough roster of competition to face....
