Old Navy getting revamped?

I have definitely noticed a shift towards a more fashion forward Old Navy.

Well.. as "fashion forward" Old Navy can get while still appealing to the masses.

I went in the other day and found a lot of great things actually. Some gladiators, some grey suede slingbacks, and some really good basics.

I just bought a cute pair of boy's shorts there today.

I don't mind shopping in the women's section, but I feel like an Olsen twin shopping in the kids section.

and it's pretty accurate imo...
LOTS of girls wear really expensive designer shoes and bags with cheap little tops and dresses from h&m and american apparel...

seems pretty standard imo...



but which 'collection' are you referring to?
old navy is doing some impressive platforms themselves lately..

i got some nice quality tank tops and cotton tees from old navy last week. it also helped that some were only $4 a piece...!

Their photography seems to have improved a lot too.

That, and the way they've styled the photographs. It's funny what effect a simple backdrop can have on your photos.

that's the thing about old navy. they're pulling all these different customer segments and so they can't possibly make clothes to suit every single person that walks in the door. just like i think a lot of stores cut small...

Their one piece bathing suits fit horribly on me, as do their skinny jeans, which is a shame because they looked good from the knees down haha

I have definitely noticed a significant change in Old Navy. A few years ago I tried out a few T-shirts from there and after one wash they went totally crazy on me and the fit was terrible.

My best friend started working there a few months ago, though, and she started showing up to school wearing a bunch of cute, stylish outfits. I would ask her where she got them and she said she got them at work! At Old Navy!

So I just went in a few weeks ago and got some really cute dresses and tops - after a few washes they still fit like a dream!

Cheers to Old Navy for getting their act together.
