The demise of Old Navy?

I agree. Target is much more fashion foward and progressive than nearly every mall store out there, and to top it off it's cheaper. Why would I spend twenty bucks for lipgloss at Banana Republic when I could get a skirt at Target for the same price?

^ banana republic does not sell lipgloss. i was going to point that out, too. they used to sell chapstick, but that was well over two years ago and it was similar to the chapstick that GAPbody now sells.

Personally, I think Banana Republic is great... they have some fantastic, classy looks... just had to put my two cents in for that place..

And I don't see Old Navy going away any time soon... they really have a market for those more reasonably-priced items. I just could not see this store going away or turning into Gap stores...

Banana Republic is the only GAP Inc chain that pulls profit from what I understand.
