Olivia Palermo

Am I the only one to not get the different lips-thing? Someone better post a pre- and afterpic, because I'm starting to believe that I'm going blind.

I stopped visiting this thread for quite a while because she got a little boring. The last few outfits, however, were great. My faith has been restored.

Her lips look THE SAME. I think the thing is she's a lot more tan and she's sort of looking up. She might have gotten a fake tan and gotten a bit darker on her upper lip. Here are two old pictures...

i think the tan in general is throwing her look off a bit (in terms of her face)...
but i'm glad to see her dressing has become more light and fresh with the tan...
it was getting a bit too monotonous there for a while...

^ Yes, the sameness and too much black was getting to be boring- but the 'new' Olivia is beautiful!! And if she had her lips done, she should get her money back!!

Hmmm not liking the clutch, it looks like a scrunched up scarf. She looks good though!

I love her mixing and matching and love the items seperately but the shoes, clutch, belt, necklaces etc don't really work together...

Markus Lupfer talks us through his resort SS11 collection in Berlin.

It's Berlin fashion week and Markus Lupfer is in town to present his resort collection to an enraptured audience, one of whom is Miss Olivia Palermo. "She's been wearing a few Markus Lupfer pieces", the designer told us, "and she was in Paris for couture so asked if she could pop along with her boyfriend".

Lupfer, known for adding eveningwear details to casual daywear - most famously on his popular sequinned sweaters - is continuing this play on embellishment for resort. "I've put gem backs on sweatshirt dresses and I'm doing more print; lip prints and a baroque-inspired print with horses".

So why has the London-based designer chosen Berlin? "As I'm not showing (on the catwalk), I like the flexibility of presentations, to take your collection and show it anywhere you like. It's a relaxed way here in Berlin", he says from his temporary home at the newly opened Soho House in the German capital.

Lupfer is clearly a fan of Olivia too, not least because she's publically championing his label. A no-doubt welcome endorsement when her style is currently so admired. But why has she captured the fashion industry's eye? "Olivia dresses sexy but easy. She's dressed up but not over dressed, she throws different things together. It's different, it's inspiring". Expect to see her wearing much more Lupfer from now on in...

I always think of Olivia as being a 'Winter Girl'.

Her once pale skin, prim (some might say, matronly) clothes and monochromatic pallette lend themselves better to dressing for colder climes - but I was wrong.

She looks more amazing than ever this summer.
