Olivia Palermo

I like it! lol I watched the entire of Season 1 The City last night in one go...i loved old school Livvie but i think shes more interesting now!

I agree, she's trying too hard.. the latest outfit is cute... but I just wish we could see her wearing something more relaxed.. simple jeans for example. Jeans, some amazing blazer and simple top is what I would love to see her wearing. Lately she has been wearing skirts and dresses all the time.. I know Olivia that you can rock jeans and pants too!!^_^

Any idea of her real height ? I googled and it said 5'4" but 5'4" seems unlikely to me. Has anyone met her in person ? Please tell me her height, im intrigued ^_^

Ok. Looking for some recommendations here. As someone who's LOVED following Olivia and getting real style inspiration from her... who else do you follow that has a similar style (mixing high-low, polished street style, mixing layers/textures)?

I'm bummed that she's not bringing it lately and am considering getting a new style crush:lol:

Noe, I totally get you, but IMO she was one of a kind!! I've found some other inspirations but completely different style!!

Re-post? :flower:

Noe, I know what you mean. My other mainstay is Taylor Tomasi Hill. She's way quirkier than Olivia, but I love the way she layers and I love the way she wears the same items many times in one season but in different outfits to give them a fresh spin.

I'm a fan of TTH style too :D but i think the main reason why we loved Olivia so much was because most of her outfits used to be so wearable .... and at least me, I just dont have the budget to dress like Taylor :P and I wouldn't dress like her daily. Olivia used to fill my lookbook files and by copying a whole outfit of her you wouldnt look like its fashion week at college if you know what i mean? Only Taylor can rock fur skirts and sneakers all at once. But most of girls can look fabulous with one of Olivia's outfit i.e. jeans plus fabulous blazer. They are both such a great inspiration (Olivia not so much now, i must say) but in very different ways.

I wish she wouldn't use such dark eyeshadow and return to this more 'neutral' eyeshadow! But seriously she's getting there again

yeah she is really pretty  but if she were just pretty and dress in ugly way who would be subscribed to this thread?

I do not like the latest style...it's too confused and mixes too many different patterns and themes and styles..

today i browsed my "Olivia folder"... over 500 pics...
yay, her old style was so great! all these tailored pieces, great accesories, so much gold, red nails, her fresh skin & make up.

she used to be such an inspiration to me...

^ Why would she be changing her look when she was doing so great with her outfits?? It makes no sense to me that she would mess with a winning formula when it was working so well for her!! :(

Thanks for the recommendation of TTH ladies! I've gotten familiar with her in the Garance Dore blog recently. I don't see a thread here for her.

Olivia had this way of being aspirational, yet obtainable at the same time. We might not all be able to afford her taste... but can apply her style "formulas" to our wardrobes. I think she'll bring it back... she just in a fashion hiccup at the moment.
