IceePriincess no one will hate you! we've been very harsh with some of her outfits too!

Stinks? I think people here give others some arguments about why we like or dislike her outfits or a particular one, but thats kinda rude. Just my opinion :flower:

In my opinion yes. Time ago we used to die to have all the clothes Olivia wore. Now, there are barely some things I like about her clothing. I think she must wear what is trend now, and conserve her classical style. Not wearing grandma's clothes ( AKA long skirts to premieres).
Sorry If I was rude :flower: but I just needed to tell that..

used to love keeping up with her latest photos
i haven't in months or is it a year or two? frankly i am bored.

Instead of trying to make Olivia into the model she is not I think some of these companies would be better off just paying a top model. If Olivia is considerably cheaper then that's the only way I can understand settling for the mediocre campaigns that result from their collaborations with Olivia.

props to her agent for booking her all these "modelling" jobs, i think she will nail it sooner or later. everyone has to start somewhere - based on all the shoots she's doing, looks like she's quite "in-demand", i mean why would big companies hire her if they don't have faith in her, i doubt they're stupid.

^ I TOTALLY agree!! I am so sick of the "I am so cool I can look like I'm out on a three day binge and throw it in your face" look by most of the young celebs today!! Come on- now we're upset that she tries to look good??...This is Alice in Wonderland logic to me... :(

I think it's a great thing that she cares about her appearance. I remember her saying in an interview once she'd wake up earlier than necessary to get her makeup "just so". Now, I wouldn't, I'd rather sleep. But she IS in the limelight and cares to present herself with poise. If nothing else, it inspires me to pay careful attention to the details. :flower:

she poses really bad. she isnt versatile, maybe they hire her because attracts the people by thinking " the sociality of the City is in that ad"

^ i agree, she isn't even a model. she is a celebrity. that said, i do think many celebs need to have basic modeling skills these days to land contracts with big pay checks. think drew barrymore for cover girl etc. for a celebrity endorsing products i think she does fine.

^ I agree, and Mercedes Benz has some of the best marketing people in the business- they know exactly what they are doing by hiring them for their ads... ;)

Refering to post #636, that look with structured jacket and hermes scarf is one of my favorite ever! I still remember that episode of the hills, Olivia and Whit going downstairs

I seriously dont ger her appeal. She always looks boring and too controlling when it comes to clothes. She is a pretty girl, no doubt about that, but calling her "a style icon"?

I do think that when people become famous specifically for how they dress something changes, it almost feels like they're dressing for that and not for themselves any more, it always seems to feel more calculated. I've always felt the same thing happened to Julia Restoin-Roitfeld when she began getting attention too.

Why is she only invited to the screenings? I would love to see more street style images of her...out and about in town

exactly, appeal to a younger style conscious consumer. To be frank, the car is not all that but they paint a good lifestyle image. I love her, but considering the size of MB I feel like she's the one thats actually benefiting from this collaboration.
