I really have made some of the BEST purchases on ebay...great for vintage shoes!

I love ebay for getting vintage designer stuff (not the fake trash please) and I love Iconique Boutique because of their fashionistable prints! What's your online hang-out?

I have not been to any of the sample sales sponsored by 7th on Sale. I have not lived in NYC in about 10 years, and only visit 2 or 3 times a year on business.

However, this is what I have found out so far about the sale:


"November 10, 2005 -- THE words discount and designer get new heft Thursday when the Super Bowl of sample sales - 7th on Sale - kicks off at 6 p.m. on eBay. The unprecedented month-long, online auction will offer up more than 6,000 items donated by 300 of the world's top designers.

Some of the items include a Derek Lam chiffon dress worn by Alicia Keys, valued at $2,295 and Juicy Couture cashmere sweaters for men and women, valued at $195 to $280. A $6,000 Ralph Lauren dress worn by Lindsay Lohan will start at $600.00. Kate Spade $495 Cannes Bellini bag will start at $49.50.

There's also offerings of one-of-a-kind experiences such as shopping trips, couture show tickets and stays at exclusive hotels.

Thousands of one-of-a-kind designer items will be available.
