I can vouch for that info. I ordered something as a gift from them, even called to make sure it would be here in time for ther person's birthday and it didn't come for at least a week or two later. They used to have some hard to find stuff, so it was semi-worth the angst, but now most of what they have you can get at Kitson online and other places.

oh are they really? I didnt know, the site seems a tad more legit to me, but I'm not shocked to hear that they arent the best with service. I think that a lot of these small boutiques make the leap into internet sales because the know how profitable it can be, but in the end they are not able to run a store and an online store at the same time. I think the issue with the Intuition shipping is that they post pictures of things that they do not have in stock yet, just that they have ordered, since they want to pick up on the hype of whatever a particular celeb is wearing. I wonder if just calling Kitson and having them send you something in stock at the store might be better than online?

it might be better to just call kitson and order something, but make sure you're dealing with a sales rep and not anyone on their horrendous "internet dept". the girl i spoke with (cuz i just couldn't get in touch with anyone about my order who had a brain cell) was very very nice and understanding! i'm sure kitson is "legit" but their internet management is TERRIBLE. they have to credit something back to my account and supposedly it's all done by paper by ONE guy, who seems to be MIA... so it hasn't been processed yet. :censored: ..much like aloharag

ok for you ebayers, how can you tell the authenticity of the things you bid? I was checking out amber jewelry and stuff and there are things up for auction for 10 something, seriously a real amber pendant would cost ALOT more... but the sellers say they r authentic.... hmmm...
this goes the same for sunglasses too, I want a pair of Chanel 5066 or 5065 but I am too scared to buy tehm on ebay

If you are having doubts with purchasing designer brands on Ebay I say follow your gut feeling and run the other direction.

:-)

Are the only sites that stock Yohji Yamamoto, Dries, Comme and Ann Demeulemeester (etc):

- net-a-porter.com
- yoox.com
- and bluefly.com?

I have looked at all the links from this thread and these are the only ones I have found so far... does anybody know of any more?

Oops...I was thinking Junya. For some reason beyond my comprehension, I get the two mixed up constantly.

^For Demeulemeester, www.luisaviaroma.com stocks womens, and www.rakuten.co.jp/l41a stocks mens in very small sizes. Those are the only ones I know of, other than those which you already mentioned. Oh, and always check eBay.

Edit: Almost forgot...you'll find Yohji, Comme, etc. at www.aloharag.com.

Thanks for the sites! But now you've got me hooked on ebay... thanks ALOT.... :)

...must...drag..myself...away....

OrangeMe.com - Shop Chic!

This online store is gorgeous, it stocks handbags/accessories/apparel/shoes from the likes of Chanel, Prada, Tarina Tarantino, Gucci, Valentino, Marc Jacobs and tones more. It's a must visit.
