adore i was going to pm you about starting an orange thread when i saw your posts in the trend thread the other day...

looks like another mod already moved your posts, which was definitely a good idea..

i agree... there is definitely a lot of orange on the runways :flower:

thanks chrissy ..
and thanks to the mod who moved the posts :flower:..

i feel like the thread needs a bit more of an innovative title..
i'll put my thinking cap on..

:P..

twas me. -_-
I'll wait for green light on your tba title. :P

I love orange, but I feel like it's a color that most people can't wear very well and thus not many people will buy.

but I do love a lot of the pieces in this thread, and maybe I will add some orange pieces to my wardrobe.

^^forgot to make a real comment.

I've been loving orange so much since I spotted that little shoulder bag at the Chloé F/W 07 show .. all the orange w/ black in that show was amazingly done, it certainly erased my pumpkin associations with that colour and I'm really looking forward to try it this winter.. and next summer too if I'm not already tired by then.

It appeared the menswear too. I have been trying to ignore it because orange is simply unwearable for me. Sad but true. Because of the steady use of basic green, yellow, blue and red, I think the trend is really primary colors, not just orange.

I love orange, wear a lot of it actually. usually with khaki, beige, grey and indigo. it really works with my skin tone for some reason.

i like the variations of orange that we're seeing..
lot's of darker, redder, more tangerine, mandarin orange tones..
which i think are very pretty and can be a bit more wearable/less daunting to ppl than a straight-up sort of pumpkin orange (though that can also be very nice too :P)

i've got some oranges i can post but will do so later, since it's getting late and i should go to bed soon

i'm really happy people are participating...:D...

i agree that this colour is hard to pull off..
and certainly not for everyone..
it is intriguing though...

i dont know if i can pull it off..i dont have any orange in my wardrobe..
i am definitely inspired to try and work some in after all this orange on the runways though..
i have a feeling it will look much better with a summer tan..

i'd love any suggestions for the title..i'm a bit stuck..
thanks mullet for creating the thread- maybe you have some cool suggestions for it's title?...
:flower: ..

Orange is the new black now? Two of my favorite colors are blue and red. Seeing all this orange is common for college sports fans since you have orange colors for Texas Longhorns and Tennessee Volunteers. Not so much with fashion. The best use of orange that I've seen is likely pairing an orange shrug with a white top. Or if a camisole or top is orange, I've usually seen it paired with khaki or tan pants. I think one time, a little girl wore some orange gaucho pants with orange Crocs-type clogs. I even remember in my 7th grade days (about 12 years ago for me), my Reading teacher had on this orange pantsuit with a green shirt. My guess is that the use of orange coincides with Fall/Autumn. But usually, more earthy colors are used. This especially includes brown. So I'm not going to rule out the combination of orange with brown or with other darker colors.
