I love those particular shots, too! The last especially looks like a painting, and even though it's a bit dark (which was intended, I'm guessing) it is very expressive.

I got the Nikon D40x for Christmas today, so I will post some new pictures later on.

Thank you, seanut! I was actually looking into the D40x vs. the Canon one, but decided on the Canon one at the end. I look forward to your contributions in the thread.

Here's some of the photos I've taken so far. I love the Nikon D40x! It makes such a crisp sound when you take a picture. Or perhaps I'm just peculiar and am fascinated by little things like that.

They're not too good (and I blame the yellow lighting on my grandparents' house), but I have time to improve.

JUST WANTED TO SHARE SOME FAMILY PICTURES!!!
NOT ALL but some photos from X-Mas at my big brother's house. I was finally
able to use my new SB 600 bounce flash and I'm quite happy with some results.
My sister and her daughter (my niece Mia) look soooooo freakin' awesome! ;-P
