I've been really loving everyone's photos. I love seeing how others look at their worlds.
As you might guess the nice weather we have been having lately has been making me very enthusiastic for my garden. These photos are mostly from last summer's garden:
This is a pumpkin blossom from last summer.
Here is what it looks like after the flower is polinated and the fruit starts to form.
And here's what your pumpkin pie is before you bake it
I'm going to plant pumpkins and ornamental squash in my front yard this year.
This'll be an extreme closeup of the unripe seedhead of a gigantic sunflower. I saved all of these seeds and am going to plant a forest of big sunflowers on the west side of my house.
Extreme close-up of my cat.
Rear end of same cat, investigating marigold thicket.
Here are a couple of pics that I took yesterday. There was A LOT OF RAIN and it looked kind of beautiful. So last week it was really sunny weather (about 28 C, I don't know what that is in farenheit) and this week its cold and rainy. It reminds me of a song by a NZ group called Crowded House called 4 seasons in one day. It's so true!!
