Wow, this thread is great! I'm so impressed with everyone's photography. :flower:

Yeah, everyone's pictures really are beautiful.
One question: are all of you using those "expert-looking" cameras, those black big ones, or is one able to take beautiful pictures like that with a "usual" dig. camera?

here are a few more...

also, elli...i personally don't use a digital camera..these are polaroids, obviously..the others i posted were taken with a diana, which is like a holga..which is a toy..anyway, i usually use a pentax k1000 or a hassleblad 500c when i'm taking pictures, although the last few art shows i've had have been polaroid pictures...they're so fun and easy!

I adore those two photographs. :D They remind me of Jessica Stam for Kenzo!

they're really pretty!
i love the composition, but also, they're what some people refer to as
'black and white color photos'
they're color, but really monochromatic
the colors don't scream at you
which is something i often like about pictures.

very nice!

francesca your pictures are great! thanks for the compliments on mine

love those photos bridgette would make an aexcellent ad campaign! and to answer elli @ least i use a plain ole digital camera

Oh, dont worry, when I googled him, it wrote out Lewis. Thanx! :)

I got my first ever digital camera today! :buzz:
Very beyond excited, and I spent just about the entire day either figuring it out, taking pictures, simply buying the thing- along with all it's equipement... Surprisingly enough too, I found that some of my first photographs actually turned out quite decently.
 The "pizza" one's obviously not that great, but it was the official first picture, so I've saved it. My favourite of all of them though- is the one with "bleeding" mannequin. I must admit that I find it to be rather beautiful an image, and I'm going to be getting it printed out... Not bad for an initial day's work!

A larger image, but it just wasn't as effective when resized.
I thought the textures and colours here worked out pretty well.

The image of that older woman is my favourite from here.
