she better go bake grandpa some cookies or make him a scarf or something to get back on his good side....cause she's trippin!!!!

im confused. So 60 mill. is ALL she was supposed to get? Her parents must be independantly rich from her grandad and give her a trustfund otherwise how does she maintain this lifestyle? I mean, she acts as if she has 600 mill. Also, when all these hilton hotels were sold earlier this year, is she or her sister set to receive any of this money? Or does it all go into her granfather's pocket and later to charity? I find this interesting, can someone clarify, please?

^i think all of the money went to her grandfather, since her father doesn't seem to own any stake in the hilton hotels brand and has his own real-estate company (but i might be wrong and they were probably all given some interest in hilton hotels after all, who knows.....)

I remember some article about Paris's "heiress" status being beefed up for The Simple Life and that she wasn't really "all that rich" (relatively speaking of course) because she got very little from simply being a Hilton.

However she seems to have managed to keep up with the Hollywood scene even before her notoriety and subsequent earnings so I assume her father must be well off even so.

Is she really going to earn $28 million this year, that's sick.

Anybody wanna buy a house?

Hilton Selling Her Hollywood Hills Home
AP - Tue, 31 Jul 2007 10:26:27 -0400 (EDT)

Paris Hilton is selling her Hollywood Hills crib.

The 1926 Spanish-style house went on the market on Friday for a cool $4.25 million.

"This is a very special celebrity-owned home," according to a description on MLS, the multiple listing service that brokers and customers rely on for a first look at available properties.

The house boasts 4 bedrooms, 3 1/2 bathrooms an a separate guest quarter and office. One bedroom was converted into the "ultimate closet."

Hilton's publicist, Elliot Mintz, confirmed the house was put up for sale but declined to comment further.

The 26-year-old hotel heiress and reality TV star walked out of jail a month ago after a three-week stay in which she was briefly released to home confinement and then sent back screaming to a lockup. She had been sentenced to 45 days for a probation violation.

A throng of reporters and paparazzi staked out the home above Sunset Boulevard last month, capturing her move from jail to home and back. The onslaught caused some residents to circulate a letter advising neighbors to call police about the noise and traffic.

A call to the listing agent, Mauricio Umansky, was not immediately returned.

Hotel heiress Paris Hilton doesn't need to worry about family patriarch and precious grandad Barron Hilton cutting her out of his will.

A story published in the UK said the ex-con party princess was in jeopardy of losing her mega-inheritance because sullying the family reputation, saying that grandpa was cutting her out of the will. TMZ has confirmed that's baloney.

After the socialite was sprung from the klink, she spent a few days at grandpa Hilton's family compound in Beverly Hills. It's rumored that Paris stands to inherit somewhere in the neighborhood of $30 million.

I didn't realize how... slim her inheritance actually was. There are pleanty of actors and actresses that have more cash than she will inherit.

I think she's given the Hilton hotels a fresh new exciting reputation. You can't deny she's a genius marketer. I bet their profits have increased lots since her fame. I doubt she would be punished for that.

This is true...but this is only her inheritance. She has made much more than this from her own name (perfume, TSL, appearances, ad campaigns, etc)

I agree with you Style Savy, she IS a genius marketer.

I doubt that any of that is by her doing. She is being handled by people that know how to exploit her. Which I think is a big part of her attitude problems.

I'm sure they just dress her in the morning, wind her up with a big skate-key in the middle of her back, point her in a direction and send her off.
