Paris Hilton wins Harvard Entertainment Award

Superstar Paris Hilton has recently been announced to be winning the "Theatrical Woman of the Year" award from prestigous school, Harvard. She will be honored February 5th and 6th in the city of Boston. The award is based on outstanding appearences in 2008 film, and rewarding women ??who have made a lasting and impressive contribution to the world of entertainment" recently or non-recently. Paris is being awarded this honor mainly because of a promotional screening 'Harvard Theatrical' have seen of Paris' film "Repo! The Genetic Opera", and her upcoming February comedy at a closed session in a local theater that recognizes indie and non-indie artistry and films. The school and department feel that Hilton has "truly earned the award, her performance has truly improved in the last year or two and people will truly be surprised by her drive in these films, we already have been..."

Harvard Comedy Mag Names Paris Hilton ?Woman of the Year?

It?s not a degree from the Ivy League School, but Paris Hilton managed to get top honors from Harvard anyway. Harvard Lampoon, the school?s comedy magazine, honored the Hollywood socialite and star of the forthcoming The Hottie and the Nottie with their Woman of the Year award.

Founded in 1876, the Harvard Lampoon is the world?s oldest continually published humor magazine. The Lampoon has many accomplished alumni including Conan O?Brien, John Updike and William Randolph Hearst.

Hilton will be on campus Feb. 6 to accept the award and speak publicly to the university?s student body. The entire Harvard undergraduate community will be invited to attend the ceremony at which Hilton is expected to give an acceptance speech.

Hilton is doing a multi-city tour to promote the release of The Hottie and the Nottie, which opens in theaters nationwide on Feb. 8 to coincide with Valentine?s Day. Tour stops include the Sundance Film Festival, Dallas, Philadelphia, New York and Los Angeles.

Paris Hilton sparked rumors she has reunited with old flame, and former p*rn star, Simon Rex after they were seen sharing a passionate embrace in the back of a car.
The pair, who dated briefly several years ago, were spotted leaving the Villa Lounge in West Hollywood together on Wednesday night and after sliding into the back of Hilton's vehicle the couple were videotaped kissing on the backseat.
