Perfume Recommendations - Looking for a perfume that smells like...

Hanae Mori is an interesting smell... Also try Stella McCartney's perfume.. both good choices IMO

Yes I love Hanae, very interesting smell, and not something that smells like you can put your finger on it.
IMO Chanel 5 is the *worst* scent out there... old lady musty bad!

I also reccomend checking out DKNY Be Delicious... its very young and fresh and is great if you like sweet scents.

I would recommend, for the upcoming Summer months, Ralph by Ralph Lauren... it has an extremely fresh, sweet smell to it. I have worn it for years
My mom is addicted to it, but I am as well. It's a colorful fragrance for all ages. I would really recommend this one.

I went to Sephora today to check out all the perfumes you all recommened for me! (Love again for all the suggestions!) I loved almost all of them, but I ended up getting Very Irresistible by Givenchy. It wasn't exactly what I was planning on getting, but I tried it (mainly because I loved the bottle :P) and it ended up fitting me so well! Thanks again! :flower:

hmm what about the new one from Escada?
i think the name is soemthing with "Rio".. really really nice IMO!

^^^ I think it's Escada rockin rio, isn't it? I've heard good things.

Anna Sui has a lot of really great perfumes that suit younger girls, and they come in really great bottles.

I'd reccomend Dolly Girl, its reasonable, and its description seems to be what you're looking for:

Irresistible, fun, full of fantasy, and a little naughty, Dolly Girl is a mischievous blend of mouth-watering fruits, a hint of cinnamon, green leaves, fresh sea breeze, soft blossoms, and sexy amber and musk - a fragrance that speaks to the girl in all women.

I'm really partial to Burberry scents too.

Not sure if this has been mentioned but I would say Cheap and Chic by Moschino it's $40 for 1.0 oz and $55 for 1.7 oz and it's available at Bloomingdales:wink: I just got my new LUCKY magazine and thought of this thread when I smelled the perfume:blush: Oh and Dolly girl is such a great perfume good choice:wink:

I really have no idea about womens fragrances... I just like Anna Sui and the bottle - the description seemed to fit her too! :P

I thought it would be interesting if there was a thread where people could make perfume recommendations based on your personality; perfumes you've liked in the past, etc. This will be helpful since there are just too many perfumes out there to smell them all!

I'll start:

I'm 17, but I act older
Natural blonde, green eyes, petite, thin and pale skin
I want to give off a mysterious, sensual, alluring vibe
I have a bit of a split personality; sometimes i'm very reserved and quiet, and others i'm extremely outgoing, flirty...hopefully there is a perfume out there that can mesh with both sides of my personality.
I don't like citrus scents, or ones that are overly floral.
I'm looking for a perfume in the $50-150 range.
Any suggestions?

Gosh, this would be difficult without meeting you personally. I find that I can recommend perfumes for people better when I know them.

I love overly floral stuff:lol: like Michael by Michael Kors... that's my absolute favorite scent.

I'd Recommend Alien by Thierry Mugler. For me, it gives off a warm, floral, sensual scent.... with a dash of mystery :brows:

Try Burberry Brit, it's so yummy! I couldn't stop sniffing my arm when the sa at the perfume counter let me try it for the first time.

Chanel Allure is my absolute favourite. Try it, but don't put too much on as it is strong. Just spray it lightly on your inner wrists, behind your ears and behind your knees because fragrance spell raises.

Don't put it in your hair as the alcohol is bad for your hair.

^

"fragrance spell raises" is supposed to be 'Fragrance smell rises'

Stupid fast typing...

Do you know any perfume/perfumes that smell like pink peonies? In a garden near by my house there are pink peonies blossoming in the summer called Sarah Bernard I think. And the scent is kind of intense/strong. And I would to find a perfume that smells like that. But maybe it is very rare.

It's hard to find a scent that isn't fruity...Maybe you could just pick a few and put them in random places on your body haha

Demeter has a perfume that's supposed to smell like peonies, you can see it here. If it smells like what you have descriped I don't know, but it's worth a look ^_^.
