I think bandage skirts look great with a tee and gladiator sandals too...or booties

I'm gonna layer, I think. I have these great looks in my head, YSL FW 0607:

Long camisole + long cardigan + bandage skirt = pure love.
Long-sleeved sheer tee + bandage skirt = more love.
I'll just wear them instead of jeans, I think  I don't mind showing a little leg.
Thanks so much for the inspiration, The Ida! I love those looks you've posted - I deifnately have loads of ideas for it now!

i hope that my pants will be ok...
i threw them in a gentle cycle in the wash..

I am all over the place at the moment..

Sensory overload... :shock::blink::hardhead:

I have a violent inclination towards all things fringe lately...
Tops, sandals, and boots.. mostly...
The idea of mixing fringe with juxtasposed elements -
such as nylon, hi-tech jersey and airy fabrics -
think chiffon, silks, etc... excites me.
And along with the fringe comes Native American motifs, naturally...
Gotta center.. :ninja:

i am loving fringe as well...as you can see by the fact that i started a thread about it...
:p...

mixing earthy fringe with sporty tech styles sounds like a really cool and new way to style a look...
i'm all over that as well!...
^_^

...
yep...they did...they actually look better now...~!
yay!

:flower:

I need a dress for summer to team with my fringe sandals, it's in my mind..but not in the shops.. it should be black.. minimalistic.. with sleeves.

[That would be perfect.]

these from American Apparel are wonderfully minimalistic, and very inexpensive ;)

my style is such a mishmash of things...i don't really know if i can describe it.

^same here. I find that I'm always contradicting myself but I feel strongly about what I like.

Thank you baddaling!

Those are great.
I have tried the first one in store and the material just seems a bit icky to me... .
I am a bit picky on fabrics..and the shape...I mean do not fit in 'one size' fits all, so it was huge on me!

I should have specified..it should be a 'hard cotton' material.. with a coating to make it a bit crispy..it is in my mind..and I know I can find it, is such a common shape!

^you might like Neal Sperling, then. I don't know if he has any long sleeved dresses, but his cotton feels amazing.
I love this dress:

atm I'm so in love with skirts and dresses again, I buying nearly one a week for by s/s wardrobe. Whether I actually wear one though is a different matter - although I did actually wear a skirt today for the first time in ages!

I love that dress cutxpaste!

a classmate of mine pointed out something yesterday that made me think.

it seems like there is a general vibe that boys are tired of looking like boys and girls are tired of looking like girls. so instead we switch identities.
i have to say, i am rather tired of the 'girl' identity. i resort to boyish clothes and manners as of late

^ I don't mind some boy/man-inspired pieces, but I never get tired of being a girl.
