Phoebe Philo - Designer

I know tFS isn’t a hive mind… but I always n prove these two contradicting viewpoints, sometimes fashion is exclusively for 1% elitist snobs or… then other times we see complaints about designers/brands being exclusively for the 1%. Which is it.

Everyone hates the “democratization” of fashion, until someone doesn’t play into that game. “Oh no, not liked that! Fashion is for the rich only, no no no NOT with those prices!!”

Okay I wrote that while not paying attention and now I can't correct the weird grammar... this should read "but I always n prove" ... "but I always NOTICE"

1 Bond Street, Manhattan, the LuisaViaRoma store in NYC (I think their only brick store); they stock PP online so maybe it's a week-long event dedicated to her latest collection ?
It's actually the other way around. They can not sell PP online but LuisaViaRoma is stocking PP in both their New York and Florence physical stores.

Oh thanks, so she kept the online sales exclusive to her own website/company ? on one-hand they keep the retailers' margins, on the other hand they got all the logistics costs... And some customers are super into returns.

Yes, so far she keeps e-commerce exclusive to her own site. I'm sure MyTheresa has knocked on her door many times already:lol:

From what we heard, PP is selling extremely well in the multi-brand stores and they've set some restrictions in terms of quantities to wholesalers for the upcoming season. I don't know if they're truly limited in their scale of production or if it's part of their strategy.
