Nope. All the photos that I have seen the exif data from show that he uses a Phase One digital back. Not sure which camera it is mounted on though.

i think a lot of the older outdoor photos are film, but hey i could be wrong...i probably am or maybe i just misunderstood what you meant?

Love this thread I think it is funny how Karl is holding his camera its like he is really unconvincingly pretending to take a pic.

Most videos I have seen of Karl Lagerfeld show him shooting with a Hasselblad H2 with a Phase One digital back.

Youtube is a great resource for seeing these guys in action.

re. Exif, most digital cameras record camera brand, model, lens choise, aperture, exposure etc. in the image as its saved. This data is in a format called EXIF and can be found if you open up the image in an image editing program (Photoshop) or any image asset program (Capture 1, Lightroom, etc).

now images on the web sometimes have that information stripped off but if you are lucky it is still there so you can just open it up in say Photoshop and look at show Info.

Scanned files obviously wont have this but even then some photographers add it in manually after the scan is done.
