The store closed 3 years ago I think (or 2?). It Didn't sell as much as expected I guess, it was in front of the (old) Helmut Lang in Soho. I was so sad when it happen you don't even know. That street is like the shame of nyc fashion i guess (vivienne then helmut! there's still Agnes B. there though).
There's a store on 8th Street (of all places) that carried some Vivienne but then that stopped last season ... and that was the last place you could find Vivienne's clothes in New York. Isn't that crazy?!

Im in love with them.

Im a size UK5-6 depending on make and fit, and nearly always buy a 6 in boots for comfort. In both the flat pirate boots and heeled ones I wear a 5 perfectly, so I would say they are biggish too.

divakate - hmm... i wear a 39 in louboutin, 39.5 in manolo, UK 6 in Viv westwood flat pirate boots, 39 in just about everything else- just so you have an idea of how different designers fit.

I asked the sales girl how come they still had them and she said that they had just done a re-order of them before the sale started - so by the time they arrived - they just went straight in to sale.

They had no 39s, I took 2 pairs of 38s and I rang today for another friend and all they now have left is a 40.

I paid £198.00 so 40% off and there are pairs of this style going on ebay currently for £340 - so in a way - I got a bargin
