Pirate Boots - Vivienne Westwood

thanks guys! can someone post a pic of the slouchy ones? i thought they were all the same but it just depended on the worn-in effect of the leather and/or how you buckled them... ?

I'd have liked to help but I've been away. For the classic, slouchy version, no matter how tight you buckle those straps, the boots are still very much slouchy. The leather is pretty thin, soft and not structured at all. If you google images of Kate Moss or Sienna Miller with words like pirate boots, there should be photos of them wearing their slouchy version of the boots, which is the classic look.

hmm... cause the suede is super thin but they don't slouch.. i want slouchy ones now too!!!

I caved and bought a pair at the Vivienne Westwood shop in Glasgow. Last pair and they were my size-it was FATE. I was worried the black leather with light straps would look funny, but it's really lovely in person.
I know most people wear them slouchy, but I think I'll be wearing them fitted and standing tall. I'm confused though on which are the "slouchy" ones-I just bought the regular pirate boots, and when I buckle the straps snug they're not slouchy at all.

I finally got photos of my boots. I'm so in love!

I bought myself the Squiggle Pirate Boots today and my friend bought the Bondage boots, easily the best money I've ever spent, they're gorgeous.

Here's a few pics for you all.

That's what I thought too.
How can you tell the difference without trying them on?
I'm desperate for a pair but I want the slouchy ones, are they the ones avaliable on the Heriva site?

both are lovely, shuffle! I know some people hate the bondage boots, but I really love them

Thanks, I know what you mean, I really do love them but not as much as my pirate boots  ^_^

Mine cost me £370 if that helps, I believe the website Hervia ship over seas, so I can't see France being a problem for them.

I'm a photography student and was taking some more photos of my boots for my blog, so I thought I'd share them here too. I'm actually in love with them, I know it's so sad

I was lusting over a pair of black suede pirate boots for so long, I finally decided to order a pair but they were sold out. I checked hervia.com a few months later and they were on sale! for 130 pounds!

And sold out in every possible size.. I contacted them and they said the boots have sold out completely and are not going to be restocked, ever.
Needless to say, this is how I felt.:cry::cry::cry::cry:
