Plaid Flannel / Buffalo Check

I own a million plaid and flannel items in my closet. I love it I always have, but you can't overdo it with the whole ripped jeans grunge look. That never looks good.

Remy Ma has really sprung this look onto the the urban universe in the past season. The D Squared jacket is out of this world!

i've worn it a few times, but im done.

them hipster homos are starting to catch up too. agh

Flannel vs. flannelette: Flannelette is that weird stuff lumberjacks wear. Flannel is a whole range of cloths, including some fairly inoffensive and conservative suiting fabrics.

I looove flannel. Two days ago, i found my dads old flannel, plaid-shirt and i wore it today with grey skinnyjeans, a short, vintage jacket (black, motorcycle-ish), boots and a skinny, olivegreen scarf. Will def. wear it alot in S/S with white jeans and thinner pirate-boots.

i love the plaid flannel look, i'm trying to find a flannel shirt dress at the mo but having no luck! I think i might just have to buy an extra large mens flannel shirt and alter it slightly..... would look fab with ankle boots and tights/stockings during winter.

I wore this yesterday, together with a white linen-scarf, a green, wooljacket, superskinny, grey cords, a brown cardigan worn open and some black, simple ankle-boots, cords tucked in:

ive been wearing the lumberjack sh*t for time...though ive noticed it catchin on over the past year or so which is always quite depressing.

Ra-Re and Rare Donna are doing some great styles for Fall 08. They look gorgeous on and they have used a crushed material which is good for a point of difference. I think I'll be wearing them tucked into high waisted jeans and shorts.

I'm bumping this up because I'm really feeling the plaid button-down shirts I've been seeing lately worn with both skinny and wide-leg jeans. Does anyone know where to find nice ones. I especially want the more tailored variety as opposed to the oversize grunge/lumberjack look.

I forgot to add that I'd like to find a plaid shirt in a lighter material that isn't flannel.

I like it in small doses. One plaid/tartan piece at a time. Moderation is key (with all trends of course).

two looks from paris via the sartorialist....

Im stil doing the whole plaid thing i love it .. so soft and comfy

i see this as a huge trend, lots of emo kids, hipsters and stuff are grabbing at the trend...ebay has a ton of vintage jackets too and the prices are now skyrocketing with bids....cause i was bidding on a few

I LOVE PLAID/FLANNEL! shirts/dresses! <3

what is ready or not?...

my so-called life was only like a hundred years ago so i would hardly say it indicates a current trend...
