OMG, is that the real cover? I love it!!!!!
Trademark Murakami. I quite like it!
Even though I don't like Britney, she's an interesting cover choice who could really have been used in a new, different way. This is just a bit disappointing. Nothing about the cover would make me want to pick it up off the shelf in a shop.
The photographer is actually Todd Cole
The styling didn't suit Britney IMO, she looks like a cheap princess... I don't like it.
I quite like it because of that fact. It looks tacky and cheap which is what Britney's style is all about really.
Cheap! Very Mainstream Japanese magazines. She looks like a model for Corpse Bride (sorry).
Wow the pictures looks gorgeous! I love the styling and photography. I hope there will be an editorial with many pictures.
Oh HONESTLY, this magazine is worse than Love. I don't care if that's unpopular.
why Britney Pop looks like early Courtney Love grunge ...
Not really into Takashi Murakami and for such an art direction, you can choose any manga star ...
Looking forward the Cindy Sherman bookzine !
I like the fact she's making it in more fashion magazines ...
I love it! Can't wait to see more of her pictures.
You said it exactly! Thank you!
Berlin, you took the words right out of my mouth, she looks like courtney love, and I'm unsure if thats a good thing or bad.
The photo of Britney isn't too bad actually, but i think Murakami's cartoon's all over the place is kind of ruining it.
This is worse than horrible! Looks cheap and tacky.
I love it. Very Britney! Very POP!
I agree she looks like CLove and very manga, but isn't that the point of it? To take someone who is so instantly recognizable and put them in this setting, and as someone else said, I think the cheapness is part of the charm (and the intention). I think it's cute
^ia w/ your comment entirely
when isaw the title iwas like wuuutttt
britney and takashi murakami is such a random combo...
Jessica Hart tweeted a month ago that she shot for Pop, hopefully it is for this issue
Hmm...I don't really like it, but it does feel quite POP
