No one's trying to recreate anything, what does happen in fashion is the b&w w/ wet look combo.. a lot.


Thanks for that! her interactions with designers in that documentary (esp the one with Pilati) make you feel depressed about fashion and excited that one day, sooner or later, she'll be gone and no one will be able to have that level of power and arrogance because at this point she IS the archaic system and it cannot be recreated from scratch. But, that video is on a separate league.. the way she's pushing her generic suggestion like 'what do you think? 😏..😌'.. you can see in her eyes how desperate she is to pay herself a compliment using someone else's creation. 'Babe' 🤣. When some of these people are recorded brainstorming, or when you see how they dress, what they listen to, or just the way they talk, it's insane they get paid thousands of dollars to dictate trends and dress codes...

Oh no, Gilles was fired for the « B***H » tshirt. The babe was the season before.
To be honest, the collection was horrible so the B word was like insult to injury.

What a time! To think that a company would fire a designer over a tshirt.

And to think that Gilles left Chanel, lost his relationship with Karl (who blacklisted him) just to be fired by the same people who chased him is crazy !

Thanks for the info. I read about Gilles scandal in a fashion magazine back in 1998 (if my memory works well) . In that article they mentioned only the "Babe" t-shirt; but I did not know about the other one, until blueorchid posted it here.
