Prada F/W 14.15 : Mica Arganaraz & Karl Kolbitz by Steven Meisel

^Exactly! This looks so amateur, still hoping this is not the campaign or this gets much better with other locations and interesting models. That one is so plain and boring

imo this is by far more interesting than SS, where you only had rows of girls looking pretty, on one hand it was good because it really showcased the clothes but on the other it was very uninspired.
On this campaign there are more elements that make it interesting, the location, the male model, Mica's expression...
I guess this also is a multi girl campaign? cant wait to see the rest :)

^Personally, I feel that last season's campaign was much more visually striking than this one. It was very much in your face whereas this one looks like an editorial.

Prada is the last ones I'd expect to have an ordinary campaign like this. How many times have we seen a duo of models set against a somber architectural backdrop? What a disappointment.

PRADA’S PICK: Prada has chosen the up-and-coming model Mica Arganaraz to front its fall women’s ad campaign. Shot by Steven Meisel in New York, the images show a strong contrast between the modernist, concrete set and the opulence of the clothes, which are decorated by Art Deco prints in vivid colors and rich shearling details.

In some of the pictures, Meisel also shot the Argentinian model next to model Karl Kolbitz, infusing a touch of human and emotional feeling into the severe, powerful atmosphere of the images. The campaign, which includes shots dedicated to Prada’s accessories range for the season, will make its debut in early July in a number of Italian publications and in the British editions of Vogue and Elle.

Boring and very Willy Vanderperre style

The house in the background is more interesting than she is. This is not good.

To say i'm disappointed would be an understatement. Mica is not the powerful model who can cary this campaign on her own. She does NOT capture the mood of the collection.

The shot it nice, but not Prada-esque. It's got a Dior Homme vibe to it.

Good for Mica. At the same time, it's very underwhelming. Someone like Amanda and/or Fei Fei would have taken the campaign to a whole new level.

If this were shot by Willy Vanderperre, Mica wouldn't even be here :innocent:

Thank goodness someone finally brought Meisel out of a studio.

I think the concept is good, and even if it's not my style, the composition works well. I agree, she probably wasn't the best model for this campaign.

anyone knows how can i make the nude of that scarf, i noticed that it was wore in the hommes show too, i would like carry mine a la prada...please!

The 2nd shot takes my breath away! PERFECTION!!!!!:blush:

I just wish Natasha was in these ads, and it wasn't OG! But Mica did a great job as well as Karl and Meisel! Stunning work, the perfect fit for the collection presented!

On Prada.com already? That's way too early.

I don't like the head tilting she does in every picture. I'm imagining this campaign with a new model with a much severer look, like Nastya Yatchuk, Kasia Jujeczka, Irina Liss, Ana Buljevic or heck, even Natasha, Jamie or Lexi.

I do love the setting.

the set steals my attention, I love it.
I dont like her head tilting in all the pics but that's not her fault but Meisel's... I think she looks strong and I love that they picked a brunette.

All these campaign is going way too fast. I haven't even finishing digesting the spring 2014 campaign yet!
