Prada Mens F/W 2016.17 : Eddie Redmayne by Craig McDean

Thanks vogue28.

Very strong so far. Eddie looks very at home in Prada.

Very strong. They are really trying to go back to the brand roots.

IMO, the recent men's campaigns (and the collections as well) have been better then the women's ones.

You can see the whole campaign on prada.com already.

This doesn't look bad at all, but again I wish it was a model instead. I can so see Tim Schumacher here.

Look good but eddie face is so burberry to me

Yeah he doesn't fit the brand IMO, i see Burberry too. I hate that they use celebs.

He looks good but i could have been more successful with Sims or Meisel. It looks like a poor's man version of their Fall 2012 mens campaign.

They needs a real spokesperson. Eddie can be that person even if he is quite synonymous of Burberry.

It's so sadly commercial, like most of their mens ads. It's disappointing because this collection was so rich in storytelling value, and also disappointing because Eddie is so high fashion and could carry on something more artistic.

Really they had done a joint mens and womens campaign by Meisel or Willy

The images are really nice but they lack a certain Prada-esque feeling about them. Rather flat.

The clothes look good. But it's so not exciting. Yes, it's very flat.
I wish they used models
and went literal about it doing something like the pirates of the Mediterranean.

He looks good but like others have said Eddie doesn't fit Prada very well.

Really loved the collection on the runway but the campaign feels very uninspired. Wasted potential :/

It's the casting choice that makes this fall flat for me. Given the same background and photographer, someone like Clement could have bought this to life much better.
