Prada Resort 2008

Oh? I kind of like this. Some of it doesn't look very wearable, but for the most part, it's actually pretty! (Surprising for Prada!)

just lovely... I loove the prints.... the first tow dresses are wonderful, the way she "drappe" them is amazing (for me)...
I love the DiorNewLook skirts.... the shoes look so funny...
it's just fabulous... but maybe because I don't pay attention to Muccia's philosophy blablabla... that's what I wanted for a resort collection... it's fresh (and old), the prints are lovely girlish... it's good.... it's springish...

Miuccia, I love you! One of the best resorts for me!

and I'm glad Miuccia is showing Anabela in her collections. Beautiful!:heart::heart:

I completely agree and ths dress is one of my favorites. I've noticed a matronly thing going on in these resort collections.

miuccia prada's a font of creativity. whenever one thinks one can wrap one's mind around her inspirations and her direction, she completely changes the game.

Mmm, I like the longer lengths ... and not all the prints were bad, even if they weren't personally appealing :innocent:

Pretty prints but hideous design. The long skirts are too much. Too old fashioned and too grandma.

I love the shapes. That background isn't doing the clothes any favours though , neither is the pyjama style pantsuit. And I don't know it seems a bit twee for Prada I think it's the prints ? I am honestly in love with it though.

I love the silhouettes that he clothes give off, but the flower prints are extremely tacky and "Little House on he Prairie".
Ewww.
I really like that gold ruffled dress though...

wow, really striking. at least on young girls, before it gets distilled by the older crowd. but yeah..major improvement over the last prada resort efforts.

i'm actually surprised by how editorial-oriented it is. so unlikely for resort. but then again, maybe they've just chosen to show only this to the press. while the usual suspects are hanging in some showroom.

ugh. I may be the only one who likes the prints, but the cuts are just so dowdy. As usual with prada, the clothes will be more commercialized when they hit the store I'm sure, but Miuccia just makes them seem so unappealing in presentation.

very stepford wives

Oddly, I find something appealing about this. The full skirts remind me of Prada s/s 01.

They're kind of new-wave Donna Reed. And, as Kiddo pointed out, that gold number is heaven.

It's refreshing to see longer, fuller skirt hems coming back into fashion. I am not so keen on her fabrics, though. The colours and the prints make the clothes appear a little too retro. And yes, as some others were mentioning before - Some of the clothing consiquently passes the border towards bad-taste.
