Prada S/S 2026 Milan

None of this feels modern, relevant. It's so try-hard intellectual and dusty. The reasoning for Raf's hire was to inject some freshness, but this is all I get

This is how you end up when everyone around is a blowing smoke up your *** no matter what. These 2 could send models in trash bags and the industry would still find a way to describe it as intellectual, profound and thought provoking.
The current Prada is just sad to look at.

At this point one can really predict most of the reactions here to the latest Prada show, it's literally the same comments every season no matter what those two send out - and it's been a lot, from psychedelic knits and clunky boots in their second joint season, "flying" dresses with satin mules from Fabio's final show, to the everything-and-the-kitchen-sink algorithm collection. The complaints about the coldness of it all and the cries for the sexiness and humour of 0ld Prada (with the obligatory remark that Miuccia's outfit was the only good one, even though sometimes it's literally a variation of something that was shown minutes before, or just last season:grinningwsweat:) are making me think some of y'all weren't following the brand very carefully before Raf joined - and I don't even see him as the ultimate successor. Have you ever seen F/W 2015 with boys wearing almost only uniform-style pieces in black and the girls getting odd mod shapes in acidic hues? Or the severity of F/W 2008, it all being constrictive and strict af even though it was all lace? Or the actual old(er) Prada, which today's show is actually leaning onto, from the pared-back set/soundtrack to the collection itself.
Personally, I enjoyed how it progressed from the rather uninviting opening two looks into an updated take on early '00s Prada with all the bra tops, intentionally-off color combos, puffed-out puff shapes, costume jewelry and of course many great shoe & skirt options, probably the items Prada is most known for in the fashion circles. And while I root for more jazziness in the future (and a successor other than Raf, yes), I honestly don't think it's the right moment for a crazy printed banger or an escapist fantasy many seem to be yearning for.

I think this is the closest to what we used to have with only Miuccia at the helm mixed with the disastrous color combinations so dear to Raf.

Again this is just them playing over and over with former collections.

Miuccia used to create a very definite silhouettes yet pushing so much on how they can be different and distinctive from previous ones.

Raf seems to have absolutely no interest for art, movies or any other medium because everything is so dry lacking with styling tricks and 4/5 color combinations.

My issue with this duo is that they are two intellectual b*tches saying ´exactly’ to one another.

Miuccia strives when she is pushed by a more instinctive, crazier, more joyful personality than her : Manuela P, Fabio Z and to some degree Lotta V.

(Sorry for any typo)

Assume that less attractive models they are necessarily more interesting it's boring.

I don't understand either. I mean Prada? Sexiness? For the fashion pack perhaps but Prada is seem as nerdy, excentric in general. It can be womanly and chic, masculine too sure but sexy is something different.
The collection is full Prada. And still sh*t. There is nothing that tickles my brain here. It's just moodboard shapes. The last summer show was bad too but it was more intelectually stimulating.

Wayyyyyy better than the mess at Fall 2025, i loved the subtle older Prada references too

I do see a glimpse of subversive beauty here and there in this collection. It's not bad, but it's not brilliant. It's too cold and clinical (probably because of Raf). I miss Manuela Pavesi's touch in all the Prada's collection pre 2015. I wonder what she would have done to this collection.

It feels as two random people trying to replicate part of Prada archives; but just with used cheap clothes available to make the collection.
