Prada stockings

^Congrats! I have been looking for them, but can't find them in the stores near me nor on their website.

I finally caved and got the Super M's slouchy socks from Sock-Dreams instead.
My package just arrived and I must say that they are soft, comfortable, suitably slouchy and really a great way to get into this look on a budget.
I got lilac ones...but now I am addicted.
I just ordered more (black, charcoal, dark red..) to wear with my Chloe patent platforms :ninja:

Thanks for the info princessimp!
I just checked out the website and I'm thinking of ordering a pair or two.
Can you post pics of you wearing it?

I bought some cheap grey stockings, they are not Prada but I reckon they still look good and a whole lot cheaper!

Those look great on you! :flower: Where did you buy them?

Are they stockings? They look like tights. Are they ribbed? Hard to tell from the pic.

sure will!
I will probably post them this weekend - hopefully the other colours would have arrived by then.
Just to let you guys know, those socks are not a silk blend like the prada stockings, they are knitted wool, but they do slouch nicely (imho) ^_^

They are stockings:

And they are also ribbed.

It depends how far you want to pull them up (they are very long), so the lower they are the more bunched up they are (in the first pic they were pulled right up, so they did look like tights - but I suppose it depends how tall you are, as I am 5ft 11" so if a smaller girl had those on all the way up they would probably bunch up more).

Here are the photos of my socks from sock-dreams.com
They are the N40s, which actually fit more snugly as it has more spandex while the super-Ms are a lot more slouchier and looser.
I have been on a sock-spree and have gotten eight more pairs since
(My camera died at the last minute so one picture is all I have!)

P.S. Nice pics, Innocent Fairy :flower:

InnocentFairy and PrincessImp - those look great on you girls!
I just got my N40s too and I love them. I got black and charcoal. They are a bit thicker than I had expected nylon to be though.
What kind are yours InnocentFairy?

I love sock dreams! At the rate this conversation is going, I feel that it could almost merit it's own thread:blush:
I've got some ribbed M's and o woolies. I was thinking about getting the N40's but I was worried about sliding out of my heels. Are the N40s more slippery than the M43s?
I am still looking for those perfect grey silk knit stocking that are a bit closer to the Prada ones though . . . but I'm such a hoisery addict that, really, I'm just looking for an excuse to buy more socks and stockings.

*Bump*
Any TFS-er started rocking their prada stockings/ long socks for Fall? ^_^

I'm waiting for the weather here to get even colder before I wear them out with my Chloe platforms.

I really love the warmth the socks provide but...my calves, my very runner-y, over-excercised calves..!
Is there a way to achieve the look and balance out my legs?

I agree with princessimp. Black is, of course, slimming, but it might also help to keep things looser up top.

Saw this in the Model Streetstyle thread and thought I would post it. Some model wearing prada stockings, or lookalike stockings! I can´t say I really like this outfit, to me the stockings take away from the outfit. :(

i just ordered the long scrunchable socks off sock-dreams.com in black charcoal and grey. i just couldnt resist:blush:

just waiting patiently for them to get here they'll be great over tights so i can still wear skirts and dresses in winter. just not sure if my legs will be long enough since they are 40 inches long:shock:
