hehehe I adore this poem so much! I have the full (pages) long version on my myspace so anyone who comes on has to scroll through for ages *giggles* and i handwrote it all into my little purple "inspiration" notebook for when im feeling down! I also did a report on it in class and got top marks and played the Prada commercial for everyone! I think it is absolute genius and absolutely thread worthy!!! *smiles*
Me too .. nice to see this thread getting some new love. This used to be the Prada I was interested in from the beginning, with an intellectual/quirky side but still firm on their roots as a luxury label (despite not being interested on the whole idea behind 'luxury' myself), empowering, with a bit of timelessness to it. It's sad we don't get much of it these days and instead, too many jokes on their clientele through eccentricity that doesn't even feel natural to the brand.
One of my favorite looks, from possibly my favorite Prada collection:
And the commercial is about her pleasure and enjoyment - there's no stud staring her down or a gaggle of men turning their heads at her. This is what perfume should be about, your own enjoyment and personal preferences, not appeasing other people. I can't think of many perfume campaigns that don't involve seducing men.
