Holidays in Villa La Angostura, Neuquen, Argentina -August 2009

Willem-Alexander, Máxima, their daughters and the Zorreguieta family were on vacation in Villa La Angostura -in the province of Neuquén- where they stayed for 10 days. The royal family was staying at a property located in the Paihuen section of the Cumelén Country Club, with members of The Netherlands Secret Service and the Policía Federal of Bariloche, Argentina in charge of their safety.

I really love her! As Empress Merel said: She is just the warmest person ever, and I'm so amazed how she learnt Dutch in a matter of months. she does makes the odd fashion mistake every now and then but she's totally makes up for it with her personality!

It was supposed to be innapropiate for her. Didn't agree with it all.

Exactly. Nobody cares that Maxima mixes colors we would never even think off or when she makes a miss because she is such a great person. She makes every error up with her personality.

I know Maxima has to dress accordingly ho her,role, age, event and stuff but' i dont think i've seen her wearing that much designer, not that she's got to but, we all know most of celebs and royalty do wear it.I' ve only spotted her wearing Christian Louboutin shoes and maybe, every now and then Valentino or Benito Fernandez (argentinian designer) gowns but that's it.
Her last outfit looks nice on her but that handbag ruins it imo

Maxima wears a lot of unknown and beginning designers. Princess Mary and Mette-Marit do the same. (Besides, the House of Orange was known for being very careful with it's money. Think of the time of Queen Wilhelmina and Princess Juliana. Still do, the house, the goverment and the Dutch people wouldn't like to see her wearing the big designers. That costs a lot of money)

I was wondering cos as i said on my post before royalty in general usually wear designer so, i was surprised not to see maxima doing the same, because we all know she can actually do it.I guess it makes sense, it's the right thing to do, esspecially on times like these.

It is. And besides, she has worn her fair share of designers. Valentino seems to be a high favorite of the Princess. Her wedding dress by Valentino really was a dream.
