Who are your favorite designers who do geometric prints you love? Any examples?

My list so far includes:

Missoni
Pucci
Etro
Ricardo Tisci for Givenchy
Diane Von Furstenberg
Oscar De La Renta
Anna Sui

^ Your prints are quite interesting, would be nice to see how that translates into a garment :)
I also quite like the prints that Etro and Missoni do, but my all time favourite - without a doubt - remains Versace. The SS2010/11 collection was a splendid example. Tisci also produces some great prints..

A thread about prints ! Love it !
Gareth Pugh would make a nice start in here :)
Although I totally love all of the examples above as well ;)

That print wore By Michaela K. of the DVF picture you've posted, it's just amazing !! And it really suits the shape of the dress so well... And the fabric... just gorgeous.

Maybe I'll add Issey Miyake to my list providing geometric folding techniques should be included here.

...but before I find some good geometric pleating, some nice geometric encrusting from Balmain:

Thanks for all of your posts xirja, those Balmain prints are interesting, and specially for the fact that they're all Black/White, a nice change from all colorful Etro, Williamson and Pucci we're used to. You don't get to see much prints with Black and White.

I love geometric prints. They're my favourite kinds of prints. And especially futurism inspired ones.

Surely Vlada. I'm glad my overly broad definition of "prints" isn't disagreeable. I figure they must have done marking/printing on the fabric before the embroidery. Same goes for woven and pleated fabrics with respect to the layout of the pattern beforehand. As far as B&W vs. color, I'm totally in agreement there ;) ...and you know, one could argue that white is in fact the entire spectrum of color, for those who need to be convinced that B&W is ok.

I'm surprised no one mentioned Dries Van Noten. He always mixes and matches very interesting prints, and I love his use of photographic ones in his last seasons
