The thing is, I never saw them as avant garde at all... they just do nice - and arguably very well crafted, wearable clothes that are
normally not very difficult to wear, I definitely miss this aspect though in their S/S 2006 collection... We started to stock the collection starting from F/W 2005 and so far I didn´t have a lot of difficulties to see my customers in Proenza Schouler, now with all the frills and ruffles, it´s a totally different story... I find it quite silly, the way they put embellishment on those small jackets, especially the look on Elise
