Queen Rania Of Jordan

i'm not quite sure about what she wore for Spanish gala dinner. she looked like she wanted to upstage the bride-to-be!

Yes i understund that it's hard to believe that, but grewing into one's skin doesn't naturaly doesn't change a such as nose big and curved to a straight, small and thick one,the 3d picture was taken from her diploming day when she finished school, than she got married to king abdallah a prince then one year later,at her photos' wedding the nose is different,so i don't think that it's a natural change,it's more accurate that she did a nose job after her studies (she finished at june1991) and before her wedding(june 1993),you can see the pictures and compare, but after of course she lost a lot of weight!

there's only 1-2years difference between those two pictures

I don't think she has had surgery. In the 'big nose' photo I think it is just the light -not that she actually has a big nose. In the other two early photos she does not have a big nose. Grooming does wonders especially if you were particularly ungroomed in the first place

Also -middle Eastern women are so gorgeous! I know so many of them and it is unbelievable. Like my friend's mother looks like she is 21 yet has a daughter and son at university. It is a very elegant style -I think that comes from the religion -which really impresses me

i agree with siennainlondon, i don't think she's had plastic surgery. i totally agree that middle eastern women are gorgeous! a modest women is always the best, beautiful, and most dignified. and yes, it does come from the religion!

She is amazing I LOVEED great style and very glamoous:flower:

I think she’s over rated ..nothing special about her looks and there’s a lot of people who dress better than her IMO

i totally agree. she's beautiful but there just isn't any substance to her. i think she is fed all the political information to regurgitate. she just doesn't have a clue that her clothes cost more than what the average jordanian makes in their lifetime! really sad and pathetic imo.

Just thought I would add some more

Personally, I think she does an amazing job incorporating more traditional aspects of middle eastern dress into modern styles.

it's a bit confusing but I'll explain what I know & maybe it will make some sense. The former King had several wives and did not name the current king as the heir to the thrown until near the time of his death. This was done to avoid a possible assassination. The current king does have a son with Rania but he is still very young & has named his half brother as the heir as of now(the exact same thing his father did) I'm sure the line of succession will change in the future though. [/b]
cheers mate it does make way more sense now.
So the husband of Rania was named by the now dead king as the heir to the thrown? but he gave that to his half brother, who just got married last weekend? which brother was actually born first?[/QUOTE]

Queen Rania's husband, King Abdullah II, was named heir to the throne by his late father King Hussein a few days before he passed away. Abdullah is King now, obviously. He named his brother Prince Hamzah the Crown Prince when he became King in 1999 until December 2004; that title is now vacant. Abdullah is the oldest brother, which gave him the direct line to the throne. In the case of Middle Eastern royal families, the oldest child (their sons, of course) of the monarch doesn't automatically become the heir; any of the monarch's brothers or other sons can be the heir. Some of these monarchies have rulers succeed through brothers, not just father to son. Hope that makes sense. B)
