i am kind of obsessed with rad and it's so embarrasing. the clothes speak for themselves. a subtle glamour! i love love love love DIE for the shoes. (there are snaps on jakandjil blog, fyi) they were better than the ****** rick owens man platform from 04?-05? i played music at this show/afterparty and had the best time! anyone who would let me play suicide and a reception playlist of siouxsie, the knife - silent shout, and belgian EBM... genius! i'm really glad he is getting the kudos he deserves. rad is sooooo nice and gracious and humble and lee trimble really did a great job of coordinating the show. there's a snippet in dazed... the bright flashes of bulbs perfectly complemented this streamlined dark aesthetic. midnight rider. it really does wonders for the genre and totally evokes the spirit of the original helmut and some older antwerp six action. a breathe of air in the monotony of nyfw!!
