I cannot believe he doesn't have his own thread being such a talented actor. I think he is by far one of the most intelligent actors out there, I love his interviews.

Holy Moly! Ralph Finnes and Jake Gyllenhaal are two of my favorite male stars.

Thanks for the thread!

^^^I agree, there is a really good interview with Ralph and Spielberg in which he says he had been looking for the right Amon for a long time, suddenly Ralph appeared and only did 3 takes.Spierlberg doesn't know where he put take 2 and take 3 cause just by seeing take 1 he knew Mr.Fiennes was Amon.
He does do a great job as Goeth, there is something so mean and sexually evil about his look and then he's got such great charisma. His last scene is really powerful, stays with you for a long.

My favourite scene was when he went to the basement to find helen, the housekeeper.Do you think there's any truth in that scene?Yes,there's definitely something sexually evil about his look, which I love of course.:P

Siesta those are my two fav actors too!Just need to add Sean Penn in the list. Maybe Robert Deniro and Marlon Brando those are like my old Hollywood sort of actors.

I would love to know about it, I think Spierlberg wouldn't make something like that up but there is such a mystery surrounding the events that took place in the camp.Maybe Spierlberg reflected the thousands of stories of the prisoners and officials in concentration camps into Helen and Amon's characters.
My fav scene is probably the one of Liam and Ralph drunk and his monologue of power. The black/white is create

Brilliant movie,I especially liked the"I pardon you" scene.

If you guys like Ralph a lot check out the movie The Chumscrubber. He is amazing in it!

He is basicly good in everything,I am still waiting to see a film with him in it that I don't like. The same thing with Sean Penn.

hate to say this... But I don't like him in "Onegin," kinda dull.:P
Read an interview about the movie "Maid in Manhattan," Ralph was styled after JFK Jr.

He was in the top 5 contenders for the main role of Da Vinci's code. It included Ralph Fiennes(obviously),Russell Crowe,Tom Hanks and George Clooney, finally producers got Hanks for the part.

Hahahaha I loved that too :D . And there's was something kinda...hot...in the scene between him and Helena. Then he had to ruin it by calling her a "Jewish b*tch"

He has pretty good roles for this year and next year, another Oscar nod would be great cause I can't still understand how he didn't take it home for Schindler's List!
