I love this.. it's completely about her beauty, her timelessness, the classic elegance in which he envisions his creations. It's very very representative and makes complete sense with his archive of advertisements.. this is what Ralph Lauren is about, it may be boring if you place it next to Prada or Balenciaga, but it's not meant to occupy that position, his campaigns rarely represent seasons or social moods, they mostly represent the label and if anything, a very American old-school kind of glamour, which I'm admittedly fond of.. the precision is something to admire.
